About 2 years ago, Ford updated the F-150, which I reviewed and they seemed to have created the perfect truck. Clearly, Ford has been busy, and this weekend I was driving the meanest F-150s, the Ford Raptor!
While the F-150 is in its 13th generation, this is the 2nd generation Raptor with the best that Ford can throw at it. A new engine, gearbox, shocks, wheels, technology and more! It lost the SVT badge, but who cares!!
OHHHH Forgot to mention, this review is unique because I haven’t driven just one Raptor, but two. A supercab (A door and half) and a supercrew (2 doors).
When Ford launched their 6th generation Mustang, they hit 50 years of Mustang production, which must mean that they’ve done something right for the past 50 years but the question that remains, is the new Mustang capable of carrying on this heritage?
That is only one part of this review, though, as my test vehicle is the unique 2016 California Special and I wanted to know if it is any special at all.
Special thanks to Ford Middle East for this awesome weekend ride!
In case you were not keeping count, the 2015 Ford F-150 is the thirteenth generation Ford truck. That is right, it has over 60 years of trucking experience and boy does it show! Introducing the most advanced truck Ford has ever made – The Ford F-150 Platinum.
This would be the first truck review on ihabdrives.com and I have to say, I was extremely excited to try the best out of Ford, the Super Crew with a 5.0litre Ti-VCT V8 engine!
