Last year I drove the face-lifted Porsche Panamera GTS and it was an incredible machine, but there was another version of the Panamera I was very keen to try, the Panamera S E-Hybrid.
If you think this is a boring Hybrid with barely any range, power or appeal, you are wrong. Very wrong.
It has a combined 416 horsepower, 5.5 seconds 0-100kmph time, 270kmph top speed and an electric drive range of 36kms on a full battery.. for starters.
Let me start this review off by saying I was not a fan of the Porsche Panamera. A lot of journalists have also kept arguing that it is not a looker and I shared that opinion, but lets be honest here, its only the rear end of the car that had a bit of an issue (This face-lifted model addressed just that) and this was my opportunity to spend some time with the car and answer a question for myself, was the Panamera worth buying?
Special Thanks to Porsche Centre Dubai for letting me borrow their GTS!
The Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet. Long name! well, they do not actually write “Cabriolet” on the back. The car is a beauty and I do not really care how long the name is, as long as I got to drive it and thanks to Porsche Center Dubai, I did.
I got the opportunity to have the Porsche Cayman S for a day, and boy what a day it was!
