2016 Nissan Maxima SR – 4DSC, Really? We’re going with that?

The Nissan Maxima is one of the most recognizable names in Japanese automotive, alongside the Accord and Camry, and has been around since the 80s. The 2016 Nissan Maxima is in its 8th generation now, although now all of the previous 7 have been released in the UAE.

Maximas are known since inception to have a split personality, a great, comfortable and spacious family car with a sporty side for when dad is driving by himself. The new one is bolder than ever, more comfortable and luxurious than ever, and I couldn’t wait to try it out!

Huge thanks to Memac Ogilvy Public Relations & Nissan for this amazing weekend ride.

2015 Jaguar F-Type R – They brought out the fangs

Jaguar have done a lot to change people’s perception of the brand over the past few years, and since I first drove the F-Type V6s, I fell madly in love. I have known all along that the V8 would be a lot more feisty, but would it matter? Would the extra power, grunt and fangs be needed? I was incredibly eager to find out!

Giving me the keys to the F-Type R was probably one of the most incredible feelings and I couldn’t wait to spend a whole weekend with Jaguar’s fastest vehicle in production.

Huge thanks to Jaguar & Weber Shandwick for this amazing weekend ride.

2015 Range Rover SE LWB – What have they done?!

The Range Rover is one of the most iconic SUVs in the market today and since inception in 1970, the Range Rover has been the definition of a large, off-road capable, first class riding luxury SUVs.

Getting the keys to the 2015 Range Rover Vogue SE Long Wheel Base (Yes, that is a long name) has brought on a lot of questions, specifically; what have they done?!

Huge thanks to Land Rover & Weber Shandwick for this amazing weekend ride.

2015 Peugeot 308 GT – They’re back with a great hatch!

Peugeot is one of the brands that have won many international automotive awards, built iconic cars over the years and have been around for over a century, so how come they are not a very desired automotive brand in the UAE?

The past few generations of Peugeot have not really kept up with their competitors in my opinion and this is where the new 308, and specifically the 308 GT and GTI comes in.

Special thanks to PerceptGulf for a week with the lovely Peugeot 308 GT.

2015 Infiniti Q50 through Shift Car Rental

I have not used a rental service in quite a long time, and evidently they have changed a lot. I had the opportunity to try out Shift Car Rental in Dubai after hearing of competitive pricing and new paperless applications – I am all for paperless processing!

The weapon of the week was the Infiniti Q50, which I had not reviewed yet. So, two birds. One stone.

2015 Jaguar XE S – Should the Germans be worried?

The Germans have always come on top in the small sedan segment with the BMW 3-Series leading the race most often and now the British have a thing or two to say about that.

Jaguar have been doing an incredible and exciting job in the automotive industry for the past few years and now they want to have a word with the Germans about the small sedan car. Exciting.

Huge thanks to Jaguar & Weber Shandwick for this amazing weekend ride.
