2015 Jaguar XE S – Should the Germans be worried?

The Germans have always come on top in the small sedan segment with the BMW 3-Series leading the race most often and now the British have a thing or two to say about that.

Jaguar have been doing an incredible and exciting job in the automotive industry for the past few years and now they want to have a word with the Germans about the small sedan car. Exciting.

Huge thanks to Jaguar & Weber Shandwick for this amazing weekend ride.

2015 Ford F-150 Platinum – Is This Truck Perfection?

In case you were not keeping count, the 2015 Ford F-150 is the thirteenth generation Ford truck. That is right, it has over 60 years of trucking experience and boy does it show! Introducing the most advanced truck Ford has ever made – The Ford F-150 Platinum.

This would be the first truck review on ihabdrives.com and I have to say, I was extremely excited to try the best out of Ford, the Super Crew with a 5.0litre Ti-VCT V8 engine!

2015 Range Rover Evoque – Is it really a shrunken Range Rover?

Back in 2011 Land Rover made a bold move by introducing a third car to the Range Rover line up, called the Evoque. The car got a lot of publicity over the years and soon became a very popular cross-over with bold looks.

I have been very intrigued by the Evoque over the years, especially in coupe but never got the chance to experience it.. until now! This is my review of the 5 door version of the 2015 Range Rover Evoque Dynamic.

2015 Porsche Panamera S E-Hybrid – Is the future here yet?

Last year I drove the face-lifted Porsche Panamera GTS and it was an incredible machine, but there was another version of the Panamera I was very keen to try, the Panamera S E-Hybrid.

If you think this is a boring Hybrid with barely any range, power or appeal, you are wrong. Very wrong.

It has a combined 416 horsepower, 5.5 seconds 0-100kmph time, 270kmph top speed and an electric drive range of 36kms on a full battery.. for starters.

2015 Mercedes Benz GLA250 4Matic – The New Direction

Ever since a few years ago, Mercedes Benz started rolling out a new line-up of small sized cars and cross-overs; The all-new A, CLA, GLA, and the GLC. It was the first time that the brand ventured and invested heavily into smaller sized vehicles targeting and bringing younger generations to the three pointed star.

While their larger and established models got even better, I was intrigued to see what these new models were all about and I was fortunate enough to start this off with the 2015 Mercedes Benz GLA250 4Matic!

Back in June, I got the opportunity to test the Jaguar F-type V6s Convertible and I titled the review as “The unforgettable drive” simply because it was an incredible machine that was perfectly balanced, sounded brilliant, drove like a dream and looked stunning.

In my mind, the only car that could beat the F-Type Convertible in its segment would either be the Porsche Cayman GTS or the F-Type itself, but not just any F-Type, the Coupe.

Huge thanks to Jaguar & Weber Shandwick for this amazing weekend ride.

2015 Hyundai Centennial – The Koreans are learning luxury

Every once in a while, car brands take on new challenges such as when Lamborghini announced that they’re making an SUV, Porsche making a 4-door sedan, or Nissan creating a supercar and the results have always been varied.

Hyundai took on a new challenge a few years ago by trying to enter the luxury car market to take on the S-Class, 7-Series and A8, and when I got the opportunity to get behind the wheel of the Hyundai Centennial, I was very intrigued!

A special thanks to Hyundai UAE for my luxurious weekend ride.
